I haven't seen camp, but the only guy there I don't really know much about is Ambrosia.

Edit: And if Shaw ran the PP in San Jose then there might be something to look forward to. They were 2nd in the league last season on the PP

Wonder if that means the Devils' defense is about to get more physical. Of course, Big Bird knew how to lay people out as well.

Happy to see Stevens behind the bench, though. He's one of the greatest captains in NHL history; his presence there alone will charge the players.

im surprised that they are going with 2 defensive minded assistant coaches on the bench with a offensive minded coach up top, i thought they would keep barr up top to keep his great work on the pk and allow shaw to work on the pp and offense throughout the games

it will be interesting how he handles different situations and how he teaches players and how he controls the defense, if there will be a more "mean" streak in them, also he is a surprisingly quiet guy

I'm guessing Lou had a talk with PDB about it and maybe he wants to run the offense from the bench

HAHA or all of the other forwards in the league at the time

they should sew a C on stevens' suit...i just became 100x more optimistic about this season

now all that is left is signing semin to a max 3yr deal
